How Much Do Movie Stars Make

RICORDANDO PINELLI a cura di G.L.G. per conto del blog

from the blog "Rethinking Marx"

On 15 December 1969, the anarchist Giuseppe Pinelli fell from the window to the police headquarters in Milan and died about two hours later. Remember, even on behalf of my entire blog, it is not my intention to stir up controversy and suspicion - justified and each other - of those years long gone. Calling to mind a few facts, not subject to assumptions and inferences, which I think is now etched in the memory of those who can not bear the spirit of abuse and hypocrisy of dominance. Pinelli was arrested immediately after the massacre of Piazza Fontana (Friday, 12 December), following the frame built around the incident against Valpreda and other anarchists.

At the time, police custody was 48 hours, after which they should have or be released or be in prison. Pinelli was still in police over the legal limit. The first official version was: suicide. It is reported that an her comment that might suggest the choice to take his life because now discovered. Because after a while 'time (and jail) - and only because at the time worked rather well counter - Valpreda and anarchists were totally relieved of any suspicion that the attack, the official version of suicide (with presumed guilty of revealing phrase) turned out to be purely slanderous against innocent Pinelli. There was an investigation, then a process that ended (in 1975) with the new version of the "active illness." Because of the stress - however due to the length and heaviness of the interrogation - the anarchist would have felt bad, and instead of collapsing to the ground, he issued an "involuntary leap" out the window (???).

However, as I said above, I want to just remind Pinelli, because in recent years other characters involved in those events were generally reported, incense, heroes and even elevated to martyrs of the poor Pinelli I have not heard a word (I just hope that escaped me, and instead they have been handed down many). Does not treat it like a hero or a martyr because, as Brecht said, "poor people that needs heroes." And then I feel nausea when I hear the redundant commemorations of questions to or that, from both right and left, molasses spill-over and a huge hypocritical bad taste, combined with rivers of stupidity.

Con involontaria vena profetica, Pinelli predispose che, alla sua morte, venissero incisi sulla sua lapide i versi di una stupenda poesia tratta da Spoon River di Edgar Lee Masters, che parla dell’uccisione degli anarchici [l’11 dicembre 1887 quattro dei cinque sentenced to death (the fifth committed suicide in his cell the day before the execution) were hanged and died slowly suffocate] unjustly accused dell'eccidio Haymarket Square (Chicago) May 4, 1886 [May 1 (which later became the Feast of Workers, in memory of that day) was started a strike to demand the working day "only" eight hours. On May 3, in front of the McCormick reaper factory, the p olizia fired on strikers, killing two and wounding many. It was then organized a demonstration in Haymarket Square the next day. Everything seemed more than comfortable, when police ordered him to clear out and began to march in serried ranks to implement the order. He set off a bomb, whose launch was not possible to ascribe to no one in particular, that killed 11 people plus a policeman, another seven, injured, died in subsequent days. Hence the indignities and persecution only to the organizers of the event process, the various executions (more imprisonment) pronounced, etc.]..

E 'is a poem dedicated to all men as those of Chicago, as Pinelli, as anyone who feels his stomach turn in front of a society like ours, in which - I quote only one example, no significant but is the latest that I have done first-hand how much meanness and meanness of spirit exists in this society - even hundreds of poor people are fools to applaud the VIPs who come to the premiere at La Scala with chilling smile on their faces, similar to "wax masks" witnesses indifferent large and small crimes. Fools, out in the cold for hours, cheering their oppressors, those who are making them regress economically and as a brain.

A Pinelli and all those who fight the powerful, the oppressors, the "great men" (political, military, the press and entertainment industry, financiers , etc..), Are dedicated these verses, the reading of which can not move those who remain on this side of the demarcation line between sense of humanity and the most arid desert of boundless feelings.

epitaph Carl Hamblin

The machine of the "Clarion" of Spoon River was destroyed ,

and I tarred and feathered,

for publishing this, the day that the Anarchists were hanged in Chicago:

"I saw a beautiful woman, blindfolded

standing on the steps of a marble temple.

A crowd passed in front,

raising his face to face imploringly.

the left holding a sword.

this sword brandished,

hours hitting a child, now a factory worker,

now a woman who tried to retreat, now a fool.

the right hand he held a scale;

were thrown in the balance gold

by those who dodge the blows of the sword.

A man in a black gown read from a manuscript:

'Do not look at anybody'.

Then a young man with red cap

sprang to her side and snatched away the bandage.

And lo, the lashes were all corroded

eyelids gears;

her eyes were seared with a milky mucus;

the madness of a dying soul

she had written on his face.

But the crowd saw because he wore the bandage. "

Pinelli and thanks to all those like him, dead (not by choice) with the hope of changing this "pig world." We will remember us and send their statements to the best of our ability.
